This page describes what stackvaluelab.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. It describes what the site actually runs — not a template.
What we collect directly
Nothing that identifies you, unless you send it. There is no account system, no newsletter, and no login on this site.
If you email us, we hold that email in order to reply to it.
If you leave a comment, WordPress stores the name, email address and comment text you submit, along with the IP address and browser user-agent, for spam detection. Comments and their metadata may be retained indefinitely so follow-up replies can be recognised.
Third-party services running on this site
| Service | What it does | What it sees |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | Traffic measurement | Pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, referring site |
| Google Search Console | Search performance | Aggregate search queries and clicks — no individual identification |
| Google AdSense | Advertising (pending approval) | May set cookies to serve and measure ads |
| Affiliate networks | Credit referred signups | A cookie recording that you arrived from this site |
Google’s handling of this data is governed by Google’s privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s opt-out add-on, and manage ad personalisation at Google Ad Settings.
Affiliate cookies
Clicking an affiliate link may set a cookie identifying this site as the referrer, so that a later signup is credited here. The window is typically 30 to 90 days depending on the program. These cookies do not tell us who you are — only that a referral occurred. Full details on our affiliate disclosure page.
Server logs
The web server records requests, including IP address, timestamp, requested page and user-agent. These are ordinary operational logs used for security and troubleshooting.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent any data
- We do not operate a mailing list
- We do not use tracking pixels from social networks
- We do not attempt to identify individual visitors
Cookies you can control
Your browser can block or delete cookies at any time. Blocking analytics and advertising cookies does not affect the content of this site. Blocking affiliate cookies means a signup you make will not be credited here — the site will work normally and cost you nothing either way.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. In practice, for most visitors, we hold none. If you have commented or emailed, write to us and it will be removed.

Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
